Wait for Sleep. For me it is connected to Learning to Live, one of my favorite songs.

Good poll. I would say Wait for Sleep. It really expresses the talent of Moore.

But glittering prizes
And endless Compromises
Shatter the illusion

Hm... probably Space Dye Vest. It's not a miniscule three minutes, I like the use of quotes and it just sounds better altogether.

too bad Kevin can`t play like Jordan and Jordan can play like Kevin with one hand. Look how bored Jordan is when he has to play Kevin`s songs on Live At Budokan

Space dye vest. It's much longer and it has more than just a keyboard melody. One of the most beautiful songs I know

WOW. Learning to live is such a hyper speed track If I`ll ever see Kevin play "In The Name Of God" just like Jordan I`ll admitt they are equal

In the Name isn't hyperspeed 2! Its the solo that counts. Jordan's might be faster... but there ain't a gram melody there! Its more jazzy. Moore's solos a perfect blend of melody with a technical touch... Ow God, here we go again, Wolfie!

Damn your right - let`s leave it - I got my Train Of Thought and you got yours Awake and let it be that way

Iwon`t convince you and you wont convince me to change our opinion so what`s the use - they are both great but completly different musicians

with the current topic, i'll take Rudess' style.  He has a more constant approach to the keyboards in Dream Theater than Moore did.  Kevin was still a very integral part of the band, but he never really was as involved in the songs as Jordan is.  Rudess is constantly playing, where Kevin has too many tacets.

on the original topic, I'll take Space Dye Vest.  Space Dye Vest is excellent on it's own.  I see Wait For Sleep as a great track, but more of an introduction to learning to live.  Space Dye Vest is a perfect summary for the emotions of the Awake album, but Images and Words has far too much for Wait For Sleep to capture.
