You should have listened less to some videos of The Who, or Hendrix at Monterey festival
No, seriously, I'm very sorry for you...

Clearly, you were playing too powerfully and your music was far too
passionate for your guitar to handle. That guitar is a
wimp. dont fix it. get a new one. dont mess around
with pussy guitars and get one that can handle the rock.

I know the feeling, as I have broken two of my guitars. What kind of guitar was it? Is the neck replaceable? My gibson actualy holds the tuning better, after I reglued the broken neck.

It is said to be the first Test-pressing of the corean release??

Yeah, go with the Les Paul. Has one of the strongest necks in the business. That is how Hackett and others get the sustain they do. Ibanez copies the technology and that is why Satriani, Vai, et al, get similar sounding sustain out of their axes. Compare prices - Les Paul or Ibanez. Both are quite good...

The Ibanez models you're talking about all have thin bolt-on necks, totally different from the Gibson type guitars which have thick set-in necks.

I have a 2001 Epiphone Les Paul Custom, and while I love it, I have had problems with the wiring practically from the start (bought second hand). The volume cuts out without warning. I've had the pots cleaned, the P/Us checked, the wiring verified & even changed the plug (that thingy where you put the lead cord in). THought it was all solved, but I'm starting to think I'll have to tell my guitar tech to go through all the wires & re-wire if necessary.
