Did anybody else go to see Cream at the Garden. I went on Monday and it
was incredible. Clapton played the best he has since 1968. Jack Bruce's voice
was a little iffy here and there but he sounded great overall. The drum solo
that Baker did was awesome as well. I haven't experienced a drum solo live
that has
been better. Hes 66 years old and still was unbelievable, just like he used to
be. To be honest I expected a lot less from these guys. Clapton can't play
guitar as well as he used to (though his voice has improved since Cream)
and Bruce can't function as well (he didn't look good at all) but they really
shocked me. The performance was very strong from start to finish. If anyone
wants me to write up a set list or anything just let me know. I would
elaborate but I'm not too sure how many people on this site are interested.

But glittering prizes
And endless Compromises
Shatter the illusion

My favourite band!

I had a bad accident yesterday, as I found their 2DVD-pack of the London reunion concert, and I lost 37€...

We been here before about the cost of the double DVD, the record company is definitely ripping the customer off - 24 quid in the UK, and enough to make me think twice and hope I see it secondhand.

Thanks for the enthousiastic stories about the new Cream, despite the ridiculous price of the box set I will buy it very soon. Don't be afraid, I will not recommended them as prog rock  !
