What if you could resurect Dead rockstars to put together a band

I'd say

John Lennon- vocals, guitar, piano

Jim morrison- vocals

Jimi Hendrix- guitar, vocals

Cliff Burton- bass

Bonzo- drums

or we can do a prog band, but not many prog artists die..

I can strangle a canary in a tin can and it would be really original, but that wouldn't save it from sounding like utter sh*t.

Pierre Moerlen (Gong, also on records of Pekka Pohjola, Mike Oldfield and Steve Hillage) -drums, tuned and untuned percussion
Alan Gowen (Gilgamesh, Soft Heap, Soft Head)  - keyboards
Michael Karoli (Can, Phantom Band) - guitar, violin
Jaco Pastorius (Weather Report, Joni Mitchell, various other bands) - bass
