Coming up on the hour is the third poll of the day as we take a look at 2023, the penultimate year in our year-by-year study of symphonic prog in the 21st century.

Yes - Mirror to the Sky - one of only two CD albums I own from the 2020's (in any genre).

Lars Fredrik Frøislie (was in my top 5 for the year). I like to wear a crust on Fridays.

By the way, nice series of polls. It's a lot of work putting together a long series like this and just wanted you to know that I've enjoyed them.

Well, from this list, the three Norwegian albums (Jordsjø, RvM and LFF) are so close to one another in terms of quality, that it's a tie for me. I'll vote for RvM just because nobody's voted for it yet. :v

^ certainly a strong album sitting somewhere between Keith Emerson's 2 bands in terms of style ( basically The Nice and ELP's debut) plus some Egg and a hint of Scottish band Beggars Opera. Ie very 1969/1970 and with a load of beautiful Hammond organ!
