Here we are surfing along the current decade, taking a look at some symphonic prog releases. We are also gradually reaching the knock-out phase of this not-too-serious "competition". At the end of the day, the point of these poll series is to raise some attention and to eventually open up a discussion on some great modern albums that people might not be all too familiar with! Hopefully this has been achieved at least to an extent. Don't forget you can always go back and cast a vote to any of the older polls, here they are below, and finally - thank you to everyone for the active participation and for making these series rather interesting. Table of votes so far: 1. 16 votes: Transatlantic - Bridge Across Forever (2001) 2. 12 votes: Spock's Beard - V (2000) 3-4. 11 votes: Transatlantic - SMPT:e (2000)/ 5-6. 10 votes: Yes - Magnification (2001)/ 7-11. 9 votes:
Camel - A Nod and a Wink (2002)/Echolyn - Mei (2002)/Transatlantic -
The Whirlwind (2009)/Discipline - To Shatter All Accord (2011)/ 12-19. 8 votes: 20-22. 7 votes: Wobbler - Hinterland (2005)/ 23-29. 6 votes:
The Flower Kings - Unfold the Future (2002)/Neal Morse - One
(2004)/White Willow - Storm Season (2004)/Spock's Beard - S/T (2006)/The
Tangent - Not as Good as the Book (2008)/Wobbler - Rites at Dawn (2011)/ 30-42. 5 votes: Rick Wakeman - Out There (2003)/La Maschera di Cera - Il Grande Labirinto (2003)/Jordsjø - Jordsjø II (2016)/Southern Empire - Civilisation (2018) |
