Did Peter Hammill coin the phrase "dead inside"

   On my last listen to the song "Lost" by VDGG, it struck me that this is such a modern phrase. I wouldn't be surprised if it originated in the 90s, and I really associate it with the 2010s. Yet there it is in a song from 1970. A quick google search didn't really help. I imagine it probably goes back further than that, but if the oldest use I can find really is Peter Hammill, that's pretty cool.

	The expressions 'dead inside' and 'to die inside' have made their way into French too, hanging around for a good couple of hundred years or so.
