It's a special technique that you have to master. It's not uncommon among Flamingo players nor is it alien to Classical players. The balance between the two hands takes practice. When mastering a technique like this on acoustic one should develop finesse. To have a full sound which is sometimes aggressive alongside a smooth sound with finesse. Practice!

I'm sorry but this is pretty much clickbait. What does that performance have to do with Hendrix, Clapton, Beck, Howe and Hackett other than the fact Vittorio played guitar (a very popular instrument)?

I mean, the guitarists listed in the title were all rock musicians, and Vittorio played a completely different style of music. It's comparing apples to oranges I'm afraid.
