I made a poll earlier with one included in PA from 1965 to 2023 with one representative per every five year period (well, I missed one sadly) and here is a list of ones all "out of PA". So, for this poll, I have chosen one track not included in PA's database for every five year period from 1960 until 2023. So, I chose one from 1964 for 1960 to 1964 etc.
The Ventures "Out of Limits" ((The) Ventures in Space, 1964) Ennio Morricone "L'arena" (El mercenario 1968, 1969) Nick Drake "Parasite" (Pink Moon, 1972) Cortex "Troupeau bleu" (Troupeau Bleu, 1975) Siouxsie and The Banshees "Isreal" (Kaleidoscope, 1980) Cocteau Twins "The Itchy Glowbo Blow" (Blue Bell Knoll, 1988) Komeda "Borgo" (Pop pa Svenska, 1993) Fishmans "Long Season Part 5" (Long Season, 1996) Stereolab "Suggestion Diabolique" (Sound-Dust, 2001) St. Vincent "Black Rainbow" (Actor, 2009) Beach House "Wishes" (Bloom, 2012) Weyes Blood - "Wild Time" (Titanic Rising, 2019) Bruno Pernadas - Step Out of the Light (Private Reasons, 2022) Multiple votes allowed, please vote for up to three (or more if such limitations are too restrictive for you). It's not a contest, but it's cool to connect with others who like music I like and for to discover music others like, especially when I like it too. Here is a youtube playlist (it would be an honour if some would check out any of the music on it and comment on it, even if just to say you don't like it: Edited by Logan - December 06 2023 at 17:25 |

It works on several browsers and devices for me. Some videos will not be available in all regions, so I changed the first one by The Ventures, but then the others should still be accessible.... I could only vote once, you may want to repair that. Would want to vote for Nick Drake, Siouxsie, Fishmans.

I'm a little late to the Beach House party:) and just discovered that I really enjoy their dream pop. I guess I've previously lumped together with all those generic alternative rock bands that mostly bores me, like Grizzly Bear, War on Drugs, The National etc... - without actually having heard them. That Ventures album happen to be the only album I own by them. It's really amazing. -as usual I like everything in the poll and I don't know what to vote for. Maybe I'm not (yet) as sold on Fishmans as everyone else with a RYM-account, but I do like them. While looking for Krzysztof, I have heard that Komeda album once and quite enjoyed what I heard. But can't remember the song. |

Another pleasant playlist to go through, nothing that I don't like - thanks! My votes go to Cocteau Twins, Fishmans and at first I thought I'd go with the Stereolab track, untill that Bruno Pernadas track came by...

When I saw the Weyes Blood and Bruno Pernadas songs I was sure I was going to vote for them A very enjoyable playlist. I particularly liked Komeda, I'll explore their music a bit more.
