   NEDXXX is an enigmatic progressive black metal project whose membership, location and date of origin are unknown. Steeped in themes of Anti-Cosmic Satanism, the project appeared at the end of 2019 with a surprise release of its self-titled debut LP via French label Norma Evangelium Diaboli (the NED of the band's name, with XXX representing the album's blank catalogue number).
The mysterious players perform a manic and theatrical experimental black metal, weaving spoken-word and orchestral samples into their dark framework, which has received critical comparisons to Deathspell Omega, Dødheimsgard, Blut aus Nord and especially Abigor, who are rumoured to be the shadowy figures behind NEDXXX.
