Francis Dunnery's It Bites is coming up with a new live album and blu-ray, not to mention a new studio material that is in preparation.

Interesting for sure. Talented guy who along with Marillion, IQ and other neo prog bands kept prog alive in the 80's.
Blu-rays and vinyl are the only 'product' that I want to own. A well produced blu ray especially is a lovely thing and well worth a few extra bucks.

Doesn't say where it was recorded other than Wolverhampton. I did once see Rick Wakeman play live there at the Wulfrun Hall. Good venue if that's it.

btw the 'Black Country' refers to coal and the mining industry that used to be prevailant in more industrial times around Birmingham and the West Midlands. There has always been an argumnet that Wolverhampton is not part of this because it's main industry was wool (hence the name) but hey ho..

I wonder if there are two It Bites now, similar to two Barclay James Harvest?
