Both are 97 years old and famous TV/film heroes, i know about other famous old fellows. I just want to highlight and focus on these two gents, who have entertained us in many decades., they were also mega-stars in their prime. Been in movies and shows that will be remembered 100 ears after their time.

Cool

Mel Brooks is hilarious! I heart his movies, especially the majorly underrated Life Stinks (the studiio strong-armed him into revising his original title, Life Sucks).

Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, History of the World, Part 1 (my favorite) ...so many classics!!

Mel's best work was all early on; I don't think he ever surpassed 'The Producers', to be fair, although Young Frankenstein came close, while The Twelve Chairs (his sophomore effort) was quite underrated.

Dick van Dyke's British accent is pretty dodgy though. xd

But you do raise a point. Mary Poppins came out in 1964. How many American actors do you think, or know of, that used British or possibly other European accents in movies in that era?
