The release is comprised of tracks composed, arranged and recorded by Marchenko over the past 8 years after he left Mooncake. The compositions stretch across a wide genre spectrum: progressive rock, electronic music, post-rock, opera music, contemporary symphonic music, krautrock, etc. "Eclipse turned out to be rather eclectic and colourful, I think anyone will be able to find their favourite track on it since the list of compositions is very diverse." – says Anton. There are two distinctive features on the album that unite all of the tracks. First, the bass lines—at times they are complex, at other moments they are simple yet melodic. The second feature is wide orchestral arrangements that glue together all of the compositions: there's extensive use of massive string and brass sections paired with thick eerie and cosmis synths. The album is available on every major streaming service. FLAC and 24-bit versions are coming soon on the band's band. Edited by skooltan - March 23 2023 at 12:24 |
