Two side long epics that deal in their own way with the futility of war. Which one wins the fight.

War, what is it good for? Absolutely nothing else makes a lasting peacetime possible. I like both tracks but voted for the one with the armed armadillo.

why such a bad thread title when you have two songs in the poll?
Why is this under "general polls"? Tarkus gets the vote today.

Indeed, this is about as prog polly as polls get... Interesting pairing though, both pretty much the best what these bands did. I think I go for Yes, just about, but it can be different on another day.

I think, it would be good to tell from which albums they are.

This is a hard one for me, since I’m love both very much. I’ll have to think a lot before I can vote.

The Gates Of Delirium easily. Even it can be considered the best composition of Yes.

That's an 80's cover. It was written by Norman Whitfield and Barret Strong for the Motown label in 1969. Good song from a musical perspective with 'right on' anti Vietnam war sentiments but from the vantage point of several thousands of years of history, complete hippie bollocks.
