Let's get back to one of these album polls; What I usually do for these is I pick randomly two albums that come to mind first, so to speak, and today I decided we could poll two records from 1982: one by Adrian Belew and one by Peter Gabriel, both are solo albums released by these phenomenal musicians. Which one do you prefer? Vote and comment! ![]() ![]() |

Tough call, both are kind of meh.
I'll go Belew.

^ Pretty much this. I find Belew's album charming but there's quite a bit on it I could do without. Gabriel's has some good stuff but same thing there.

I agree that Gabriel had a shaky start of his solo career, first few albums are very artsy but somewhat messy... And then came 'So' (and the start aligned for PG).

Peter Gabriel for sure. For some reason, I cannot get into Adrian Belew's solo work.

Both great, ground-breaking albums in their day; love them both but went with "Security" despite "Big Electric Cat" being one of my go to guitar-smile songs of all-time.

I'll go with Belew this time. PG4 is a real let down for me.
