Okay. Both the series go back to (not literally) ancient times.

I must say that I haven't watched the old Doctor Who's (1963—1989) yet. I believe I'll do that sometime in the future.

Anyways, I'll go with both; as I was fascinated by both (as far as I've watched). The Twilight Zone's '80s stuff granted me with some of my earliest spooky memories. Those were the good times.

I've nowadays been watching Rod Serling's Night Gallery. Very fun, so far. (The guy snatched some of the coolest names up! Lol.)

Do you also like/love these shows?

I, too, picked both. Depends on the mood, I suppose.

Oh, the Zone.   I don't hesitate calling Serling a genius, and his brood of other great writers like Earl Hamner and Richard Matheson did some of history's best television.

The Twilight Zone by far for me.  But I do like older Doctor Who (Tom Baker).

Doctor Who, mainly for the Jon Pertwee era.

If the Daleks ever get tired of world domination, they can always find work as plumbers unblocking pipes and drains with their attached sink plungers. Smile

The scariest moment in The Twilight Zone was when actor Victor Morrow got decapitated for real by a helicopter rotor blade during the making of the movie. Ouch

Overall, The Twilight Zone (don't watch the new version though, it's rubbish).

While I consider The Twilight Zone (the original series) to be the better show, and am a huge admirer of Rod Serling, I voted both.

By the way, of classic Who a favourite of mine is Inferno (I love UNIT stories), and in "new" Who my favourite episode is Heaven Sent.

The Doctor: But I don't exist in your world!
Brigade Leader Lethbridge-Stewart: Then you won't feel the bullets when we shoot you.

Hope you do check out classic Who, I love the Pertwee and Tom Baker years (I still have more from the first two Doctors to watch). And then maybe try Blake's 7. From new Who, I tend to favour the Capaldi and Smith Moffat years.
