I understand that they aren't the most relevant group in the scope of progressive rock, but one of the members (Thomas Crimble) went on to play for Hawkwind. Their first two albums two, (Self titled & "To Pagham & Beyond") are absolutely amazing blends of jazz and prog (Jazz-fusion), although their last two are ok to downright dreadful (although I must say, "Skinitght" isn't that bad). Anyways I'd love to see some appreciation for these guys.

really love their debut album, amazing blend of jazz and rock similar to Circus and Marsupilami.
Really enjoyed the use of the flute and sax played by Bob James and my fav songs are "Night Time" and "Tell Me" fully of mellotrons played by Juszkiewicz. Their second album "To Paghan And Beyond" its another hidden gem

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |

I have the first on cd....missed an opportunity to get it on original vinyl.
The second is also good...songs a bit longer...both are worth getting if you like that early Brit quirky prog rock meets jazz thing. They remind me a bit of Web and Samurai at times. .Both lps are from 1970.
