I, as a Turk, support Turkey; as should be easy to guess.
My foreign favourite in football is Italy, with whom we are playing today. Among these: Some other teams that I support are Croatia, Denmark and Sweden. I also like watching Germany and Netherlands national football teams. How about you? |

I'm going for North Macedonia seeing as England are likely to be bullshine again.

Germany and Italy, but I'm generally interested in football and any team can win my heart (as did Croatia at the last World Cup). By the way I think that Italy will do well, and this would've looked more knowledgeable had I said this before today's game (as I did in a footie forum ). I have seen a number of predictions that have Italy somewhere between rank 6 and 10, whereas Germany seems to be predicted around 2-4. I have seen both in numerous nations league games and friendlies, and Italy has looked so much better to me over the last 18 months. France are probably favourites still, followed in my view by the block of Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal. England and the Dutch are not that strong in my view but still better than Germany (who will have difficulties to get out of that group). The underdog doing well could be Denmark or Switzerland. They're very well organised and they're really hungry after missing a World Cup. Mancini is the optimal manager for them. They may lack world class players but will be a tough nut to crack even for the likes of France and Belgium.

Italy always bring something to the table. Turkey have a great team and early days.
If Ronaldo can keep going with assists as well as ego moves, Portugal may be ones to watch.

I suppose Denmark but Ive never been into national pride/honour. I usually root for the teams that deserve it the most. Can have something to do with their skills, courage, energy or personalities.
Back when Denmark won this very tournament in 1992, I was 10....and completely heartbroken when we beat Holland in the penalty shoot-out. I so rooted for Holland with all their fine orangy men..aaand my absolute fave football player at the time was Ruud Gullit. Sure enough..when the final arrived I was back on the side of my native vikings |

Scotland (obviously) but will also look very favorably on anyone who damages the chances of the perfidious Albion. Given the quality and depth of the squad they've had for the last 10 years, even a Belgium victory will see their golden generation consigned to the same page of the history books as that of Holland i.e. best team to win the Euros but never win a World Cup. I've got a sneaky feeling Italy will win it.

Agreed, they were miles better than Wales but needed a second goal to put the game to bed. Too many Welsh players have had insufficient game time with their clubs (Bale, Ramsey, Allen) That said, Embolo aside, the Swiss are bang average and Wales will play better (and lose)

That was a really horrible situation. Eriksen is hospitalized. Thankfully they were able to save him with CPR, and he is conscious and going through various medical examinations right now to determine what happened. Regarding the result itīs of course a disaster for Denmark losing to Finland, who produced exactly one chance in the whole match...and scored on that chance ...oh well Denmark didnīt produce many chances either and when you donīt score from the spot...meh not the best performance.
