I'll begin with two very weird things. One of them is "cool" for anybody, I guess. The other "Simpsonsesque" one might be bewildering for those who take politics too seriously, or are like "Holy f**k, we're living in a simulation!" type of people. For the latter, I'd say "predicting the future" and "shaping the future" is quite a complex issue to discuss. This is just beyond me... But come on guys & gals, there are many mysteries in life. Even Nostradamus doesn't seem like that impressive, for some people into such "dark" stuff...
Source for both: https://twitter.com/weird_hist P.S. I hope that the stuff they share are not "fake" at all. It is very hard to fully trust in virtually anything, nowadays... After eating some special plant food that farmer A. L. Butts had sowed on his apple orchard, the grasshoppers grew to an astounding 3 ft. in length ![]() In 1958, the Western TV series 'Trackdown' featured a con man named Trump who promised to build a wall in order to prevent the end of the world. ![]() Edited by Shadowyzard - May 19 2021 at 10:52 |

^ i'm super open minded and am a major researcher in all things esoteric including crytozoology however as a biology major who focused in ecology, i have to say that the biophysics would not allow an insect to reach such sizes. This article explains it well enough for the lay person... Of course there are always occulted rules of the universe so i would never say never, just highly unlikely.

Thanks Mike. It would always be good to have some feedback here, from people like you. That way, we can "exterminate" them, if we can prove that they are faker f**kers!

My favourite fun story is more of a curius fun fact, in that the 60s artist Long John Baldry is the first voice actor/model for the animated TV show version of Sonic the Headghogs supervillian, Dr Eggman. I just love that coincidence, were my childhoid and grown-up hood meets.

^ I couldn't understand what this song says...
I like Rod Stewart. But if "the young Turks" are implied to try to "change" the point of view of the cute and naive couple; here's my move... I bought this cassette (Face the Heat) about when it was out. Whenever I have to act with my national pride, it serves as a catalyser, or like a "passive skill" (as in Diablo II). I advise everyone to do so, till anarchy is victorious! ![]() Edited by Shadowyzard - May 20 2021 at 09:49 |

I honestly have no idea why that song was called YOUNG TURKS. The lyrics have nothing to do with Turkey! BTW do you know this band? I discovered this last year and it's a great metal underground band from Kayseri |

^ Death Oath!!! You are a true explorer, a holy diver Mike!!! You actually found a unique and precious pearl! There was a tragic death, I guesss the founder of the band died some years ago. They are truly an impressive, vicious band. Lots of bands from Istanbul and Ankara should worship them!

The grasshopper story can't be true. Insects of this size could only grow during the Carboniferous because there was much more oxygen in the air during that time. The trachea breathing system of insects is inferior to the breathing system of vertebrates and only allows them to grow to a certain size.

Friede, my "title" was a clickbait, of a sort.
![]() But with good intentions, so that we can falsify some. Thanks for your input. ![]() Anyone else, other than Icarium, cares to add some interesting things here? |
