Today I bring to you a special holiday edition of the prog theme polls.  A few of these songs are actually about Easter, but most of them just have a word in the title that can be associated with Easter, hence their inclusion.  A few well-known songs.  Many lesser known songs.  Hopefully, a playlist that can be enjoyed with your Easter Brunch....which might have included Echolyn's Brunch in the Sun, but no such luck in the YouTube universe.  I have included a YouTube playlist for those who enjoy that and I have included the videos below for those who prefer that.  Other than that, Happy Easter! - YouTube

Gve them a listen.  Choose your three favorites and let us know what you think.  "Other than that, Happy Easter!"

Keith Emerson! Btw, the version of "The Church" on Changing States differs from the version recorded for the film (La Chiesa).

Hymn #43 - Jethro Tull

I think one would be hard-pressed to find any prog or even prog-related tracks about Passover.

don't be so rude, seriously.
Maybe the thread creator forgot about it or does not know the song.

Because the true meaning of Easter is chocolate, of course.
I mean some people like to celebrate the first zombie, but for my children it’s definitely about the chocolate.

What would you choose to celebrate? 🧟‍♀️ 🧟‍♂️ 🧟 or 🍫🍫🍫? 😜

What does a rabbit or bunny have to do with Easter?  Nothing except that every year at Easter they would bring me a CHOCOLATE statue of themselves for me to eat.  The song itself has nothing to do with Easter, but I do associate the word CHOCOLATE with Easter, and as I said in my original post this thread is about word association songs not actual songs about Easter, although there are some songs that are actually about Easter. Interesting that the Easter song industry never took off like the Christimas song industry.

Singing about Santa is more believable than singing about an imaginary being that rose from the dead and ascended up to the sky. LOL Songs that are written about that topic stay in church. Songs about Chocolate are more fun.

Anyway, Zappa of course, Alberto Rigoni (new to me), Mahavishnu Orchestra, and Zero Hour.

If I were to say I had an epic fail, it would be that I didn't include this song.  Embarrassed
