Damn, I really liked his records but apparently he had a whole interesting life around that, very sad.

^ Yes...reading his wiki page after this happened...I didn't realize he had a whole philosophy thing connect with martial arts and drumming and healing and such. Feels like bullsh*t but very interesting still.

Milford Graves: A Mind-Body Deal - ICA Philadelphia

Apparently, he had this exhibition at an art gallery at the end of last year/beginning of this year. It sounded pretty interesting and I'm glad he got to complete it before he died.

A posthumous release with Wadada Leo Smith and Bill Laswell is scheduled for release on TUM next month.
