Has anyone else read this http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/10/03/movie_music_poll/
a list of the top movie music according to the American Film Institute compiled by 500 film artists, composers, musicians, critics, pundits and historians.

The thing I can't believe is there isn't any Ennio Moricone in the top 20!!!
No The Good, the bad & the ugly, none of he's dollars movies or once upon a time in America, once upon a time in the west, the Mission, The Untouchables, etc, etc...

Well,at least they have John Williams at number 1,so they got that much right.

One of my favorite tv and film composers never gets his props though,Danny Elfman.I love his work.

Didn't know who Danny Elfman was so just had a look on imdb and jeez this guys busy..!!

He has done some good stuff as well hasn't he... and be quite rich

Yeah,he has done like The Simpsons and the Tales from the Crypt theme.Also scores every Tim Burton(one of my favorite directors)movie.But has done so much more,his list of credits is very impressive.I just love the sound of his compositions.
