Welcome, you've listed some great bands there, just strange that you listed simon and garfunkel
and elton john amonust them...
I don't mind Simon & Garfunkel either, just not an Elton John fan.

You seem to like a lot of post rock, but you are missing out on Tortoise and Pelican. Check those two out, believe me you will not regret it.

All those bands you listed are distinctly "college radio" bands.  are you in college/do you listen to any independent radio?
