Hello Progarchives,
...It's been pretty long since we were very close to presenting it : here's MPXXIV's Bruyère for new sonic adventures featuring some remixes of pieces already on mx3.ch (among which are our most downloaded tracks), and newly rendered others with flute, genuine church organ, Iommi 70s sound, (uniquely arranged) orchestral MTron sample pieces...
"Bruyère" – that french word means "heather" and refers to a heather wrist strap that symbolizes the time when Marc's partner Juliane moved her workshop (see more on her creations there !) to the room you can see on the Afflux' cover, while MPXXIV's Temple of Jams is downstairs. That's all for now, next one will be called "Transit", there's still a lot to sort and guess, we don't know when we'll be done. |

Some radioactive pieces, otherwise the guitar and drums sound better than in last albums. Time will help ?

Thanks for those visits, we certainly wish everyone who might enjoy one piece or another, will get to discover our tracks !
As for guitar and drums we present no piece unless all is OK, but f.i. having such a tone that any listener would call it a Iommi 70s soundalike tone is challenging and for sure are open to updating our previous pieces if it seems there are better options |

Prunelle and Gésier sound much better than what I'd remembered, the drums much heavier, warmer at the same time

The recent drum kit on Bruyère applies now on Empoi, Mentor, Passage, Prétention AND Appel where we've noticeably inserted a brand fresh new riff section that might fit for some swing dancing, "wobbly knees", things like that... There's also some mbalax ingredients (similar patterns are meant to appear on at least two other pieces by, er... er... 2024).
