Wind Up for me. Especially the lyrics. Easily the most meaningful song on the whole album. Though the title-track is pretty cool too.

Impossible to say if there's one song better than others...
Anyway I've voted for Wind Up, remembering the first time I've listened to its live version: it was the July 16th 2005, in the Italian concert in Mantua!
PS Wind Up is a "forgotten" song in their shows, traditionally!
Soon I'll buy the new Aqualung-live!

I love all the tracks on Aqualung. But Windup is my favorite, with My God a very close second.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

"... sun streaking cold, the old man wand'ring lonely..." Ahh, that section in 'Aqualung' makes it superior for me. Of course a personal memory attached to it (was on a cassette from my first love... oh what a perfect music taste for a girl friend she had!) helps too. Sorry... Of others I like most 'Mother Goose' and the tiny ones 'Cheap Day Return' & 'Wond'ring Aloud', not the most voted ones. Funny how different ways to enjoy an album.

My favourite part of the best song of this brilliant album made by a legendary band.

Both for me!
P.S. Wondrin' Again is a longer re-recorded version of Wondring Aloud, with different lyrics and released in the Living In The Past compilation (1972).

The nucleus of Jethro Tull over the years: Ian and Martin. This picture was probably taken during the Benefit or Aqualung tour (1970/1971).
