Topic: Seeking Song Posted: December 04 2017 at 21:48 |
Hi, just new today as of Dec 4 /2017 and love prog rock anything from Genesis,Jethro Tull,SAGA,Rush to Porcupine Tree.
I am seeking a song I heard years ago about 1979 no idea who it was can't recall any words.
I can only describe it as an ascending chord progression on electric piano, which gradually adds, drums, bass, guitar and vocal. The vocalist reminded me of either Cameron Hawkins of FM or John Wetton or Greg Lake type voice. In the middle had an amazing Alan Holdsworth type lead solo.
IF you can lead me to this song I will PAY YOU I promise.
Thanks for reading,

Can you add more information? Like ,do you know when the song first came out? How long is it? What's the mood of the song? ANY lyrics at all to go on? Who can you rule out? I know most of Greg Lake's work so if is was him, that could help. Also- just taking a wild guess here: Was it an old Styx song called Father O.S.A. ? It was on the radio in 1973.It's like you described.I'm sure you can find it on youtube or something.--AbbeyRoad
