Blank Space Records is not so much an actual record label intending to sign artists, but rather a place to keep all the many, many yet-to-be-released recordings that my brother and I have made in various bands and solo from between 2010 and 2015, and perhaps other artists we know if they would like. Most of our music is instrumental, but not always, and includes many genres, sometimes progressive rock, sometimes not. So on this thread I'll be posting albums, which will probably come out every couple months. Hope you check some out and enjoy! - Here are the most recent two releases: Monadnocktopus: "Sharks on a Plane!" Album (surf rock with some mathy-ness) HaM: "First Strike!" EP (instrumental rock with some post-rock)

I listened to Sharks on a Plane! I liked it a lot, though the recording could use some work. And not necessarily so that it's not lo-fi, if it's an artistic choice, but some of the speech clips, for instance, could have been mixed in better/EQ'd so that they were clearer.

Thanks much Polymorphia! Yeah, we've never been too great at recording. It always ends up kind of turning out however it does. Having listened back to it, I think some of the levels could have been a bit better balanced before we released it. But glad you liked it, and I so appreciate you listening :)

New album, Second, released today, after an unnecessary delay. It's roughly half progressive folk/ half weird instrumental compositions. Here's the last track with its score: Edited by N-sz - July 14 2017 at 14:43 |
