I don't necessarily think they're prog, but
I *do* think that their music could be interesting to a LOT of prog
fans because of the seriously insane amount of classical elements.
The vocals are a bit tough to get used to, but the sheer awesomeness of
the melodies and harmonies are spectacular. Badass use of a classically-trained pianist (on keyboards) as well. w**kery at its best!
Sample: Bodom After Midnight (5/5 "LOL THIS IS AWESOME s) Warning: He says "Yow yow!" a lot. |

I'd rather see Warmen on here instead

I don't like them. Here's an anekdote about CoB for those not living in Finland: The bands name refers to the the murders of teenage kids at lake Bodom, which happened at year 1960. They are currently running at trial against a murder suspect at the court. The relatives of those 15 year old girls killed back then are probably very happy about the bands name. |

CoB prog? Oh the humanity, the pain of it all... NEVER This crappy
teenage metal band will be prog Alexi is an awsome guitarist but he`s
not interesteg in complex music, he just wants to make metal for 13
year old girls.
Are there any good Finnish bands? I`ve heard a couple and I didn`t like any of them... |

These bands have been merchadised agresively abroad from Finland, with underlining their country of origin. They are pop, and often pop is crap. What I have heard of those you mentioned, they truly are crap. If you like prog folk try UZVA, or if you are into psychedelia try HIDRIA SPACEFOLK. |

I surely don't know! I think it's directed more to young kids. I noticed an interview of the guy somewhere, and he stated it has always been his dream to be a monster. The lady in ZAPPA's "Uncle Meat" movie might be turned on as he turn's into a monster |

I think they're just uninventive and boring. They just throw in the classical elements and don't do anything interesting with them.

95% of todays bands (prog also) are uninventive... But I still think that they created a uniqe stile, so I thind them a ee bit innovative... And I love the keyboard-guitar melodies and harmonies... Its a matter of taste, as allways... Thats the main problem with any tipe of argument... Its ALLWAYS a matter of taste... so arguing it actuallly pointless |
