Hi all,
Elfhouse is a symphonic prog band from 1978 that wasn't allowed into the PA database because the only recording is a 15 minute EP. I played bass on this recording made at Ayre Studios in San Jose which consists of 2 songs (both with vocals). "Lifting the Veil" is a 5 minute piece while "Mad Meg" is much more explorative at 9.5 minutes. The band has been most often described as sounding like a mix of Camel, King Crimson, and ELP. I think symph prog fans might enjoy this so if anyone is curious, they can check it out on Soundcloud (downloads allowed):
In 1979, Dennis Pearman the leader of the band (guitar, keyboards and primary songwriter) moved from the San Jose area to Eugene OR and Elfhouse continued on for a couple years (though no other studio quality recordings exist).
Always curious to hear anyone's impressions of my first prog band
