Topic: Did I kill Justice Scalia? Posted: February 14 2016 at 12:09 |
Just the other day I was reading an article about the U.S. Supreme Court and saw that Scalia was the longest serving current member. And I thought perhaps it was time for him to go! Did I kill Justice Scalia?

no its not. You make your bed, you lie in it. Racists and bigots loved him, those that think that couching discrimination in terms of what the founding father MAY have thought 250 odd years ago rejoyce.

Just watch the GOP double down on filibustering and try and stall this until post election.

I heard of this when Raff and I were on our way to the Orion and listened to talk radio on the drive up. bank it... the locals here have the pulse and already talked to the pols. Obama won't get his nomination confirmed, even if a moderate. They'll stall and delay hoping to win in November and use this a crutch to 'get out the vote'

I'm sure he has loved ones that will miss him and that is sad, but as far as his work goes I can't say I miss him terribly. Unfortunately the republicans are probably already moving to block any all nominations on the basis of "OBUMMWER IS THE ANITCRHISTIS SCREW HIMSMSM~!!~!!!1112" so that just makes the election all the more important. I do doubt Clinton's sincerity, but both her and Sanders have promised to only make sure they only appoint someone who will overturn Citizens United.

No, you didn't kill him. From what I've read by tinfoil-hat wearing Tea-baggers is it was a huge left-wing conspiracy promulgated by that known Muslim anti-Christ Obama, who flew down to Texas personally and put arsenic in Scalia'a iced tea.

To be fair whenever someone dies of "natural causes" you know the CIA did it.

If you did, I will definitely help you with the funding for your legal defense.

Best line I've heard is that Thomas needs to match him. Geeze we lost so many musicians this year it's about time we lost a true political hack.
My favored joke name for him is Scalier.

The founding fathers were racists though, so he was probably interpreting it according to their wishes.

Yeah, and they also believe he was murdered by the Democrats to push their "liberal agenda." Pfffffffffffffff

I give them a get out of Mick-jail free card.. they were products of their environment.. and the times. as was a literal interpretation of the constitution.. today's racists and bigots of course will see the Constitution as their Bible.. their legal excuse to continue to try to perpetuate bigotry and racism onto this country via the legal system.

Good to see your opinion about not gloating over the death of political figures has changed.
