About as long as I can go without a bellybutton.
A more interesting question would be: How long can you go without flushing a toilet?

You mean everything with sugar ~ fruit, bread, liquor, etc ~ or you mean dessert basically?

I nearly always flush after defecating.

And by "flush" I assume you mean in the Continental sense -

This. It's WAY harder than most people think.

Oh hell yeah, worse than 'gluten-free'--  but I got the impression the OP meant sweets.

I think my health would deteriorate, because sugar is a very important vegetable, and a great source of sucrose. It's ubiquitous too with scarcely a recipe that doesn't contain it. I might be able to replace it with Splenda in my chili, though. So, I'll say five years, although I would need to see if my doctor could ween me off all the placebos he's prescribed.
