If so, should their be health warnings like on alcohol and tobacco?

Eh? Can you provide an example of someone who's addicted to grease?

I think he means fat, as in bacon, butter, oil, and so on.

But anyone who thinks well of the abomination known as "Grease II" should seek professional help.

I have never heard of such a thing, but I have heard a bit about sugar having addictive properties. Sugar has been shown to induce ΔFosB in D1-type medium spiny neurons in the nucleus accumbens (NAcc).[1][2] Consequently, regular consumption of large quantities of sugar can result in a state of addiction to sugar.[1][2]

This is getting a tad surreal

Condor please instead of posting random brain farts with little or no personal opinion attatched to them - then do me and the rest of the board a favour and post in the shred room: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=101792
....which probably is THE place for these kinds of things. It's a thread where members can shoot the breeze and talk about all or nothing and sometimes both simultaneously.
The incessant urge to post threads on everything under the sun is beginning to wear thin.
I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but trust me I am being nice right now.

Can't see how someone would be addicted to John Travolta. That's sickening.

Indeed, I used to be quite keen on Olivia Newton-John though.

People can be psychologically addicting to anything, even if it's not chemically addicting.  Banning everything is a retarded (scuse my french) knee-jerk reaction

If you really had to ban food, HFCS would be a lot more beneficial to get rid of
