Topic: the most charismatic lead singer Posted: August 18 2005 at 16:21 |
Listen it´s NOT the best whatever, its who has got really that thing that makes you want to watch that person on stage...in Mariahs case I guess it would be their boobs...
I will go with Robert Plant and Ian Anderson, I have nevere had the chance to see Plant live, but I have seen DVDs and I have a video and...that dude really knows how to start a show. I did see Ian Anderson in his last solo tour when he came and did some Tull classics and songs from his new albm with an orchestra...and he was nothing but hilarious, "accidently" hitting his crunch while playing the flute and adwising use not to go to some country side in England...hehehehe, funny dude

BRUCE DICKINSON but he`s not listed so it`s Jon Anderson.
Mariah Carey is not the lead singer she`s the man... erm, woman... singer. Damn you know what I mean

To be honest, from that list I would actually go with Axl Rose.

Anyone who has ever seen Peter Hammill do a completely unaccompanied
encore, without mic or any instruments, as I have experienced twice,
knows where the vote goes. (Once he did "Again", the other time, to
everybodies surprise, "I Smile Like Chicago", a song he sang on the
first solo album of Robert Fripp).

I knew you were going to throw Gildenlow out there
From the list I would say Plant, one of the greatest frontmen EVER.
Personally,Maynard James Keenan is one of the most charasmatic singers I have ever seen live.

I would say Iggy Pop was the most charismatic or should I say chrazymatic on stage, but from the list I choose Ian Anderson.

And I am not frightened of dying, any time will do, I
don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying?
There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime.
I never said I was frightened of dying.

From this list I would say Ian Anderson, or perhaps Jim Morrison. I absolutely hate Axl Rose, and I agree that Jon Anderson - as good a singer as he is - is not the most charismatic person in the world.

Jon Aderson makes yes so easy to identify because of his unqiue voice.
