"The boys crept on stage in the near-blackness, and launched cautiously but assuredly into 'Incommunicado'. This was then followed by 'Hooks in You'. The crowd was wild. After all, who could fail to be moved by such a statement of rocking intent.

I barely noticed. I was open-mouthed, staring at the right hand side of the stage. For there, where Mr Rothery had stood, only the year before on the Brave tour, there now lurked a being I could scarcely recognise. It looked like Rothery, only somehow... well, larger. I glanced at Walmanwee and Rodborth, and they looked back at me. It was left unspoken, but I think we all knew inside that things were never to be quite the same again......." - Glitzy-Cape, R.I.P.

I recall stories of a car accident and injuries some while back.  Not really sure.  But I did start to note the increased girth a few years ago.
