The incredible voice on Four Horsemen by Aphrodite's Child. RIP.
Indeed, and for that I forgave him for the awful "Forever and Ever".
There's a lot more to forgive him (which I gladly do - The Four Horsemen was memorable indeed): he has overdosed the Dutch charts with lots of glyka when prog was in its heyday.

As Luca said, he was quite big (no pun intended) in Italy when I was growing up, and sang quite a few songs in Italian as well. I remember I used to make fun of his often over-emotional way of singing, but there is no doubt that he was very talented. Incidentally, this morning I learned of his passing from the Italian website I usually read for news - a few hours before this thread was posted on PA.

Who is next ?
Sad month for prog.
just warming us up for sure.. unfortunately. If we are not getting younger.. they sure as hell are not.
This is, I am afraid, very true, Micky. There is a whole bunch of the classic artists who are now either in, or approaching, their seventies, so the law of averages says.........
Their music will, though, live for a long time. In some cases, for a very long time. And, for those of us who do believe in a reality after death (whatever form that takes), then we have some fantastic gigs to look forward to over one hell (pardon the pun) of a long time.
