Topic: Ad inked in blood Posted: November 06 2014 at 02:21 |
Did you notice this ad on Prog Archives? It sports this headless body, obviously inspired by one of those short clips coming from islamic state. Awful if you ask me. But there also is this recommendation saying "this is modern death metal at its absolute best". And who recommends this? "Metal Sucks". Is this some kind of a joke?

The ads that you see are specific to you, it depends of what you search online, of course there are ads with bad taste

Oh, I see .. that would be why I am getting all this "Hair Regrowth" and "Dr. Oz Fat Burner" kind of stuff ..
I guess "The System", knowing my date of birth and gender, is making not entirely unreasonable assumptions, although I am neither bald nor fat . Oh, neither am I interested in "Hot Women Over 50" :)

^ No AI is perfect, but considering the amount of data it analyses, it does it quite well.

I guess that's why my PA is full of coprophiliac ASMR.

It pops up now and then indeed. But I don't listen to death metal at all, neither do I ever want to watch those snuff movies with decaps and all from that horrible IS. If Google Ads wants to impose censorship on PA then let 'em look in the mirror first.

No, I don't personally mind commercials here. They help our Prog Archives any way. Besides, you might also find some treat for yourself too from time to time among them commercials. They're not always bad. Usually, but not always.
I only was referring to one particular ad and to that awkward name of the magazine - "Metal Sucks"
