I leave my PC on permanently and only restart it when necessary.

It's six years old, by the way.  The only things I've done are install a newer video card, install more RAM, and replace the power supply (that died a few months ago).

I have done the first two, but my stick of RAM was bad, I still haven't got another, and I need a different power supply because with my new video card I have to disconnect one of the DVD drives to get it to work right. LOL
