Well I'm finishing up GG's debut before going to bed, so switching off to something else wouldn't have worked so well.  Plus, as I said, volume wasn't very possible right now as I'd probably annoy one of the girls living on the floor below ours.  Ah well, I know my music is superior so I'm not worried. I had that same problem in my uni hostel a few years ago. The girl above me played sh*t pop really loud with heavy bass all the time. I only ever heard bass. One night I had a few mates round who don't mind metal and we played Opeth's Blackwater Park loudly while she was sleeping.

Nice plan, if things ever get too bad I could always throw on some Meshuggah. Wink

For tonight, though, I'm going to sleep.  Talk to you later.

Should have pulled out Viva Koenji!, Grembo Zavia would wake 'em up nicely. Or Zu if you want to play "who's bass is louder".

Or you could have pulled out the old classic and blasted Merzbow. Evil Smile

Anyone listen to the song I posted on the other page?

Opeth worked well. People who don't like metal or growls hate that stuff.

Oh OK. It's a good thing to keep in mind if you want people to leave or get very angry at you. Smile

Back then I had my Floyd collection, a few DT and PT albums, and I'd just discovered Opeth. Apart from that, my collection was just classic rock and a few psych albums. About this time last year, I had a prog explosion.

I had mine before Christmas, it was quite ok except for a sore arm a day after it.

I'm really bad with needles though

Should be fine though.
