I think that I can relate.  Kind of like writing footnotes for financial statements. And in our case no matter how hard you work on them and research examples for suggested wordings, the boss always comes back to us with wholescale revisions.  Angry

I'd try and find a UK online supplier too, obviously.

I looked at the datasheet for the third option and the whole RAID thing is confusing, you were right in that it looks like it only applies to FireWire 800 (which you probably won't use), and in any case it's completely internal and transparent - no configuration needed on your end.  I still think the third option is your best bet.  Just forget about all the RAID talk, I don't think it will apply.

The second option is for people that need security - you don't need to encrypt your MP3s, do you?  Wink

It's not just MP3s, it's also genealogy/family history, plus other general odds and sods.

But mostly MP3s and large Install files (like legally downloaded programmes, of course).  It saves me re-downloading them, unless they get updated.

Doesn't sound like anything that needs AES 128-bit encryption.  Geek

Perhaps not.

Now I just need to find a UK supplier.

That GY!BE review that was reported was kind of strange.  I kind of get what he is saying; sort of. I wonder if our illustrious IVNORD found a different persona to talk about music, but still couldn't avoid the politics. LOL

Yes, I said "financial statements", and checkout out the Review Reporting Thread for the link to the Gy!BE review in question.

Saved by PA streaming sample on that record - sufficiently unimpressed that I knew I should stay away.

I downloaded from eMusic, but at least it only cost me a few downloads, and not 10 or 12 like a normal album.

PA streams can be very helpful in that regard.

GY!BE? The only time I find Yanqui UXO interesting is when I'm not listening to the music but it's on in the background somewhere, and usually at 3am

Hello. How are you, Mike?

Bored and uninspired mostly LOL. There's a lot of stuff I should be doing but I'm in one of those "I'll get around to it" moods.

Narcissus is great.  I think that the Psychedelicatessan employees are tearing up with joy over that one.

Yeah, I'm in one of those moods today too; I've been feeling lazy. Then again, by my standards, lazy is still doing mental work for part of the day instead of most of the day.

I'm more so bored than uninspired at the moment. I hardly ever get bored too often, but I don't have too much to do. I'm already done with nearly all of my homework for the rest of the year. LOL
