I haven't been called Mattmatt in a long time.

I still dunno, I can't tell how much stuff I'll have to do. I want to be able to say yes but I could randomly have to do something.

Is Mattmatt still okay, or does it bother you? Ouch

It is ok, but these past few months people seem to have switched to Mattie or similar, I don't know why.

I'm excited to see them. Kind of an interesting opener for them but i guess it's smart not putting two very similar bands on same ticket. would be boring.

Monday is Emma Ruth Rundle and This Town Needs Guns.

The new Bob Seger album, Ride Out, is actually pretty good.  I think he does a couple of cover songs, but they are ones that I'm not familiar with. He sings about a car, pistols, and Adam and Eve, amongst other things.

I listened a bit on youtube and they are fun sounding, but of course not the harshest thing ever.

I really wish I could listen to music on stereo so I could listen to stuff the The Cherry Point and The Rita the way they are meant to be.

They might probably be my fav improv band because of their sillyness. I love the spoken word over the wild instrumentation.

I have to be in a certain mood to enjoy listening to the cherry point and even more so with the rita. A bit too much in the hnw camp for me to really enjoy them.

I could never listen to a noise release at the volume they want

The Cherry Point's Night of the Bloody Tapes is my favorite noise album so far.
