speaking of small demos, you all should find Bj-1's improv somewhere in the previous pages - it was excellent

I'd join except I haven't played the drums in about 10 years and probably won't be as good as Cutler anyway

I had a random James moment when I walked into my friends dorm room and he was playing Tarkus and I told him Egg were much better. Wink

It's great though, the two kids in that dorm room like: 1) prog and jazz fusion, 2) lots of obscure '60s music and good indie; so I find myself there a lot.  Plus we hang out with some cool girl who has a turntable and it's basically an ultimate music nerdfest.  The kid who likes obscure '60s stuff has twice the music as me, which is impressive since I only know one other person besides him with more music.

Incredible that you've found such people already, consider yourself lucky.  Most people do find their core friends Freshman year.

I haven't really yet established a core group yet, I'm just with random people here and there, some more than others.  I don't know if it's for better or worse, but I enjoy it.  It seems that usually with random people, they bring along their friends and friends of friends seem to usually irk me.  I'm best with one-on-one interactions, or small group, big crowds usually make me less social than anything else.

All we need is to add something to a part of one of the songs and we're done. Then it'll go up on our website shortly afterward.

What kind of music does your band play?

If I had to describe it, I'd probably say it's very avant-like. Our first album is a concept album and it relies heavily on synthesizers. Although we've already started working on the second album too which I can say will not rely on synths nearly as much. Although I think Alex/MP07 is much more excited about it than I am, mostly because he's been waiting almost 2 years to get it done.

I used to be in a progressive metal band
with very painfully obvious influences
together for three years and only got 3 songs recorded

This seriously can't be real.
All I can say is thank goodness for venereal disease, wrinkles, and drug abuse, because that's
how her future is probably going to be,

I'd just hate to see how she reacts when life starts to not go her way all the time.
