Not surprising - I bet they "sold like hotcakes" at that price! 15.00 is still a very good price - and well worth it!

Eskaton's 4 Visions apparently "sold like hotcakes" as well, as it's already out of stock.  Hopefully it'll get back in stock soon, I need to order it still. LOL

It will get back in stock as Steve said on Prog Ears, but in the meantime it's also available at Laser's Edge: www.lasercd.com which is a fine prog and metal outlet run by Ken Golden

Ah yeah, I always forget to check Laser's Edge for stuff.  I've just gotten so used to checking Wayside for everything I need. Tongue

I shop mostly from Greg ever since Avestin linked me to him when I was looking for Simon Steensland. He seems to have EVERYTHING I ever think of buying. If he doesn't, it's usually not on wayside/kinesis/lasercd either. And his prices are usually the best or close to.

The only thing I could think to say about Greg that is negative is that his packing jobs can sometimes be difficult to unpack. xD (Maybe I'm an unpacking newb though =P)

Really?! I should have known if you were involved it would be something I loved!

I just put the title on my "wishlist" at Wayside.  :)
I think I should recommend them to the ZART team to be added to the PA database

Yeah, I haven't ordered from him yet.  I've been on his site quite a lot, though.

I thoroughly agree! I'm always so exited when I receive an order from him because it's always full of special goodies; but quickly ensues the frustration of how long it takes to open and reveal the inner splendours makes me...lol : )

His shipping prices are the most expensive ones.
$10 shipping for two albums, it costed me.
But his catalogue is the best

Within the US I meant:
4th Class/Media Mail

1-3 CD's
$3.00

.25 Cents each additional item

That's weird ... when I order from him, it's not that expensive, last time I ordered 4 cds and paid something like $6 in shipping.

What? You found the musicians of the band? Well, it would be nice to see that, indeed.

Just ordered Xing Sa's Creation de l'Univers, I've had it recommended to me by a few people and enjoyed what samples I've heard on the band's Myspace.

I emailed the members of Höyry-Kone/Alamaailman Vasarat about whether or not we'll be seeing a reissue of the Höyry-Kone albums anytime soon.  While the news regarding those isn't so great, I did find out about the Alamaailman Vasarat DVD planned for May and another album for next year. Clap

Nope, here's the response from Stakula:
"Jon,

Höyry-kone re-issues are not part of the release plan right now. First is Alamaailman Vasarat live DVD coming up in May, then next AV album next year. I'm sorry, but we have to put our resources to Alamaailman Vasarat, there's no time and money for Höyry-kone right now. This is may change in the future, though.

Thanks for your interest,

Stakula
Alamaailman Vasarat (& Höyry-kone)"

Hopefully it does change in the future as he said, but if not it's going to be a challenge to find their albums.

Though people here might be interested in this:
SOLEIL ZEUHL 25 - One Shot - Reforged
$18.00

SKU SOLEIL ZEUHL 25
A reissue of the very first, originally self-titled release by One Shot, which was self-released by the band in a edition of 500. This is a superb release by bassist Philipppe Buissonnet (Magma), keyboardist Emmanuel Borghi (Magma), guitarist James MacGaw (Magma) & drummer Daniel Jeand'heur who does not play with Magma, but he's as great as the others and why would Magma need another drummer? Recorded in one day, with a very live sound. The sound is a very appealing combination of Zeuhl mixed with electric Miles (dig the smoky organ & great Fender Rhodes work) and great guitar work.
"This new issue has been re-mixed by James Mac Gaw & Pierre Luzy & was remastered for better dynamics. It has 1 bonus track, recorded the same day as the album & not featured on the first issue. New cover art too."
  • Label Soleil Zeuhl
