Compared to Ruins the new North album is a definite step down.

Yeah.Their new album "What You Were" signals a change of direction for the band.A LOT heavier and with screaming vocals.

But that album hasn't been added. I tried looking for it but could not find it. That's really a shame. I really liked Ruins.

Agreed, I'm totally obsessed with it. Phantasia is just great. I think I like it more than I did Day Without Dawn's Understanding Consequence.

How did you say, LITE? Do you have a MySpace for them or something?

DILEMMA: PLEASE HELP

So apparently the Pax Cecelia (yes, the Pax motherfrakking Cecelia) is playing in pittsburgh tonight, not 15 minutes from where I live.

Problems:
-the venue is a video arcade which is not built for music, and mostly caters to the underage crowd.
-There are 4 other bands on the bill, all of them are some form of hardXcore/emo/screamo, and the number of bands pretty much guarantees that TPC will not play more than half an hour.
-I'm pretty sure none of my friends are available/willing to go to this.

So, I love the Pax Cecelia, they are amazing, but do I risk a night of hanging out with 14 year old emo kids by myself to see 30 minutes of one amazing band? Confused

Also this venue does not serve alcohol / is not BYOB, which is a serious potential dealbreaker.
