Caio, so quick to jump to illegal conclusions
Almost everything on the internet is illegal IRL.
For example, those hyperlinks i just did, are illegal. I would have to give the due credit do myspace, or its owner, whoever is powering it, etc. So, yeah, illegal stuff is the norm OL.

I dont know why everyone gets so hung up about illegal downloads and internet links.... If its on internet and the band are OK with that it is a sure directive to their music. i would never have heard anything from Zu if not for the links posted here so would Zu prefer to keep their music in the dark or have it promoted in a thread such as this. I already know the answer to that.

It is simple, actually. The music industry, as well as book publishers, etc, profit from the distribution of information instead of profiting creating new information. The former is much cheaper and generates much larger revenue than the latter, so it is only natural that when something gets in the way of that by, say, ditributing information without any profit and with quality similar by that offered by offical sources, that person is criminalized as if he is breaking the law, when most of times this is not the case.

Its virtually impossible to find Zu's CDs on a shelf in an Australian CD shop.
I get annoyed when I walk into a CD store around Australia and you get ZERO PROG like nobody wants to hear it... The best you can find is Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Yes, Genesis or occasionally ELP. I ordered an Ayreon album from my local CD and was delighted that they got extra copies in to sell on the shelf. I also got the latest Astra, and IQ, but of course all had to e ordered as IMPORTS. Flaming imports! Why cant CD shops just stock GOOD PROG CDS, but they never do. I have to flick thru countless Lady Ga Ga, Atomic Kitten and Pink ot find even one Yes CD and its always a compilation.

Welcome to my world. I mostly have to import the stuff i listen to. I usually pay the triple or the quadruple the price I would if I lived in the US or Europe due to import taxes and normal taxes. The latter practically double the price of everything that is produced or goes through Brazil and the former double or triple the price of everything that enters Brazil via importation.

I'm a bit more affortunate that that. I bought almost R$200,00 worth of progressive rock/metal on a local stores. But you need to be patience enough to browse through every album they have in order to find neat deals. I almous bought Topographic Oceans yesterday, but it was R$60,00!!!! Overpriced as hell!
Plus R$350,00 worth of CDs that came in by mail yesterday, so I got R$550,00 in albums. Still a lot of money for only 18 CDs.

Hello shred,
Just wanted to let you guys know that I bombed the chem final very badly and more likely than not failed it, and it's very possible I will not pass the course. I'm in an especially poor mood now so I'm just gonna stay away from the computer for a while I think.
I also want to post this very cool song by an amazing band:
That EP is so good; possibly the only EP I would ever consider giving 5 stars to. Enjoy.
