I don't include live material in such a debate.

So pre-Clivages, I'd say The Hard Quest.

Excluding live albums is nonsense, so no.

GAH!

For whoever's sake, how hard is it to spell titles of songs or names of people correctly?  Come on!

Apologies, I'm just procrastinating aimlessly.

It's not nonsense. LOL  To you it maybe nonsense but it's not to me.

Live material tends to always be played to a higher quality than studio recordings.  They're not limited by time and they tend to be more adventurous.  That's why quite often some tracks sound stale compared to less restrained live versions.

Live is a perfect example of that.

So no, I do not class it as an album in that sense.  I base these things on studio recordings as that is where new material is usually heard.  Live was just old recordings played live and yes, they're wonderful versions and the album is wonderful but it's incomparable to studio recordings.

So therefore I exclude it.

That doesn't work for me. In this case, I already relistened to the whole UZ of the 00s. Rhythmix sux, Implosion is interesting, and Live is finally something good (great, I once thought). And I should then say "Live is incomparable to studio recordings"? It's UZ in better form than ever trying to achieve in the studio, and for more than six years (at least).

I can't wait for my financial aid to come in. My "add to cart" finger is itching.

but then, I don't particularly find The Yes Album one of their best. Relayer I like much more than I used to.

I get about $120 NZ per week in student support, plus whatever I earn (as long as that is not over $180).

I'd say about half goes on music.

My conservatory examination... I made lots of mistakes that I usually NEVER make. It's frustrating and humiliating.

Also, lot of school work to do. I'm getting tired of that. I just want my secondaire to be finished.

I need a credit card though, I guess I'll get one of those reloadable ones. I hate blowing it all in one place but it'll be worth it.

My parents have started talking about me getting a credit card. Which would be nice to 1) establish a credit history and 2) not have to borrow their credit card when I order stuff then pay them for it later on.

Laura Robson playing doubles on court 31.

By far the only match worthy of watching today.

It's also a different line-up.  Not that that makes any difference, mind you.

Implosion was wonderful anyhow.  The Hard Quest was better though.  Rhythmix didn't suck, it just wasn't as polished and interesting.  I'd still give it a 3/5.

It's not a matter of them being on better form really.  It's live material with a different lineup.  I suspect they always sounded amazing live with whatever lineup they had from whatever era.

Live performances are a whole different thing.

It's like Hammill's live versions of his '80s tunes.  They're still the same tunes but his modern interpretations of those tunes are much better in many cases.

There are not that many options for online shopping, at least not for me.
