Hey, considering people have done reviews with over 2000 words, they would say my review is quite short.

True.

I guess I'm just not too big on reviews. To me, the music speaks for itself, and I don't like the idea of confining it to a verbal description especially because someone else will hear it differently than I will.

That's neat.

I'm not doing much really, only relaxing and listening to Jean-Michel Jarre. I'm winding down for the night.

I hate short reviews where people just say "this song is awesome".
It doesn't tell me anything about the music at all.
It seems silly to me to write a review like that, so I go more in depth than that, as you may have seen before in my past reviews.

I honestly haven't heard any of his solo work aside from one piece that was on a Pure Moods CD I bought. Recommend anything?

Those are his two best, yeah. Tangerine Dream is even way better.

Yeah, I agree. I never understood the point of those.

I like reading reviews occasionally, but I don't too often.

It's basically a long time...I'm gonna take driver's ed so as to get the insurance break on it, that doesn't start until February and it's something like 40 classroom hours and 20 driving hours...then waiting for my appointment and all that jazz. I would say I'd surely have it by next summer. Any earlier would be possible, not too probable though.

Oxygene and Equinoxe for sure. Those two are pretty good electronic music.

Oxygene and Equinoxe for sure.

If you really like those, particularly Oxygene, and are feeling adventurous... then go for Oxygene 7-13.

Sometimes my reviews have bits that are impenetrable to the non musician.
But that's my reviewing style, and I'm not going to change my style for anyone that thinks they can't understand portions of my reviews.

Oxygene Part 4 is very good, but it's the worst song on the album. Wink

I've only written 3 reviews, and I don't like any of them. Someday I'm actually going to go back and edit them as well as write some serious reviews. But I don't feel rushed to do it so it might not be for awhile.
