Speaking of this though and more on the side of realistic ones, do you think that Portnoy/Akerfeldt/Wilson collaboration will ever occur? And if it does, will it amount to anything?

Obviously it'd be an album on the heavy side, but more a PT type of heavy instead of an Opeth or DT type of heavy I'd imagine. I'd also like to hear Wilson do lead guitar and Akerfeldt play bass since he was originally recruited for Opeth to be a bassist.

Yeah, I'm not sure either. I'll definitely acquire it as soon as it comes out though, I'd imagine; we'll have to wait until then to find out.

Your idea of Akerfeldt playing bass would be extremely interesting. I wonder if it's plausible though. It all depends on the musical direction they take, I suppose.
