I always enjoy the Hourly Comics, although I've forgotten to follow them this year.
Derek Bailey with Ruins turns out to be awesome after all.

Wasn't Jake (Kobrin) a member of the Prog-Metal team?

Why is it that many teams are almost in coma? Three years ago, for example, all the teams were in high alert, posting, debating and evaluating. There was only one team that did have members but the two members didn't use downloads, they evaluated only based on physical albums that could be bought or sent over. LOL Now, there are teams who don't even seem to exist any more.

Lack of motivation and a somewhat inefficient system.

Well, why aren't the less motivated team members replaced by new and more motivated new members? LOL

Everything on the internet dies due to lack of interest unless you have a steady influx of new members. For example, how many active posters do we still have from 2004 and 2005? Obviously, the evaluation teams have been replacing their members slower than they lose them.

That's where the inefficiency comes in.

Not at all, I thought the Eclectic team was doing fine - by the way, would you like to try this local band I suggested, Discordless? They might fit Eclectic, I don't know.

Logan gathered six or seven bands that were recently suggested. If it's among those, I'll be checking it this weekend (dangerous mix with the decade marathon style)

I'd love to be in a team, but I understand why interest wanes when things become a bit tedious.

Oh, I see. I don't think Greg took them, as the first suggestion was for Post-Rock. If you have the time to listen to their album, here's the link: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=63445&KW=discordless
