Joel. Srs question time.

I have enough money in my iTunes to get another album after the Isis and Ulver albums I'd planned on getting. I have $8.

For that, I can get either Relayer or TFTO Remasters.

Which.

I need to get some Isis too, don't know why I've put it off for so long. Next time I go out I'll probably get Wavering Radiant, seems to be the only one they stock here.

Definitely do so. It's their best album IMO.

Um...http://www.last.fm/music/ART+BEARS+songbook

They were in Victoriaville three years ago!
Now it's getting frustrating.
Univers Zéro, Present, Koenjihyakkei and Art Bears Songbook (with Frith/Cutler) all made a show in Québec just before I knew them. Now UZ is one of my top five favourite band. And they'll probably never make a show here again Cry

Assuming you don't have either, I vote Relayer.

Also, I would like you to intellectually defend your purchase of that--what I assume to be--gawdawful Steve Wilson covers box set. I could maybe understand if it was a box of covers by Steve Wilson, but who gives a f**k about what other people think of his songs?

It is a box of covers by Steven Wilson.

Hell yes it is. I'd definitely grab it you if I were you. One of the best Sludge Metal/Post Rock  albums of all time.

Edited for a genre of music that actually exists. Wink

Seriously though, I like the "post-metal" bands I heard, but I hate the name of the genre given to many of those bands. I usually refer to them as "sludge metal" or "post-rock".

Well..EXCUSE ME. LOL Yea, I agree with you. Didn't wanna throw anyone off though, because they are listed under Post-Metal here. Wink

I know they are. But I've seen people start calling bands like Kayo Dot and maudlin of the Well "post-metal", and they aren't in the same musical categories as bands like Isis, Pelican, Neurosis, etc. But oh well. There are bigger things to complain about.

In other news, only 2 more days until I give the girl I like a 3-lb chocolate heart and ask her out. Big smile

Really? I see now that I read "an original SW song" as "the original SW song". But still, you're paying 28 pounds for twelve songs?
if you own a sodastream i hate you

Ohh, I see where you're coming from...I'd never call Kayo Dot Post-Metal.(wtf) I actually think Kayo Dot should be in Avant-prog. but anyway......

That's great about the girl, I though you were already with her. This is much more exciting....Let me know how it goes. Smile
