Happy Saturday to any Shred Roomers that are in and around today.  Anything exciting happen in PA today that I missed?  Any trolls get Southern fried or anything?

I'm trying to appreciate Hawkwind.

I can't say that I am there.  Hawkwind is one of those classic bands that I only dipped the toe into the pool on.  It has been quite awhile since I spun anything from them, but they weren't really my thing.  It probably would hurt to dust them off and give them some additional spins however.

I like doing that, especially if it's been a really long time since I've heard something.  If something finally clicks, it's the most rewarding feeling.  Recently happened with Starless and Bible Black.

I have been listening to quite a few non-prog albums lately that I haven't heard in quite some time.  Although, most were ones that I liked previously, it is still fun to revisit them.

Well, still not sure that Hawkwind does anything for me.  By contrast I then put on Gong Gazeuse! and I can't stop grooving.  But of course Holdsworth and Moerlen together is so ridiculously awesome.

I haven't been watching Merlin, Rob... is it really that appalling?

And I maybe off to see Hawkwind next month and I don't really know their music either.

The first time I heard Space Ritual, I was hooked. Now, I just LOVE Hawkwind.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

SR can keep you young, but this is a fine refuge when the spam starts taking over.
